
BYD Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., located at Lot CN-2A, Phu Ha Industrial Park, Phu Tho Province, was granted its initial Investment Certificate by the Phu Tho Industrial Parks Management Board on August 25, 2021, and its first amendment on July 22, 2022, with a total registered investment capital of US$269 million.
During a meeting with the Phu Tho Provincial delegation in Shenzhen City, Guangzhou Province (China) on April 18, Mr. Han Shulin, General Director of BYD Electronics Vietnam, provided an overview of the group’s development process, operational scale, and global strategy, as well as that of BYD Electronics Vietnam.

BYD is a leading technology group in China and globally, operating in the fields of automobiles, electric trains, electronic components, and renewable energy. BYD currently owns a closed-loop production chain from batteries and components to electric vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, and energy storage systems, with a wide global market network.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Duy Dong highly appreciated the role and vision of BYD Group, affirming that BYD is pioneering the era of green mobility.
He stated that Phu Tho aims to become one of the largest centers in the country for high-tech industries, processing and manufacturing industries, electronics, automobiles, and motorcycles.
Phu Tho province currently has 57 planned industrial parks, of which 30 are operational, covering over 5,800 hectares, with synchronized infrastructure and readily available land for investors.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Duy Dong presented the Investment Certificate with adjusted contents for the BYD Vietnam Electronics Factory Project, increasing the investment capital by an additional 479.8 million USD.

Comrade Tran Duy Dong happily stated: “This procedure was completed within just 24 hours of submitting the application under the ‘green channel’ mechanism. This is clear evidence of the province’s determination to reform administrative procedures, accompanying, supporting, and creating the most favorable conditions for investors and investment projects in Phu Tho province.”
He expressed his hope that BYD Company would adhere to the project schedule and proceed with the research and implementation of the electric vehicle manufacturing and assembly plant project in Phu Tho.
